COVID-19: 2020 NYSOBBA Annual Conference Update

Dear NYSOBBA Member:

During these challenging and uncertain times we want to assure you the health and safety of our members and business partners is our top priority.

After careful consideration and adhering to the recommendations of the CDC and federal and local government, the NYSOBBA board has decided to postpone our 43rd annual conference in Niagara Falls until 2021. We are currently finalizing details for a webinar with various topics to replace this year’s conference. Full details will be posted on the NYSOBBA website shortly. Regional directors also hope to be able to organize an event this summer in lieu of this year’s conference.

Our conference has long been a place to share ideas, best practices, provide our members with updates in higher education, and bring our community closer together. We look forward to being together again in person in 2021.

For those members who previously registered and paid for the 2020 conference, registrations will be cancelled and refunds have been processed accordingly. If you had already reserved a hotel room, please understand that we have asked the hotel to cancel your reservation.

We ask everyone to be safe and stay healthy.
